If you answered YES, then Families for Freedom (FFF) is for you!

FFF is dedicated to teaching diverse communities about the deportation system. We are not lawyers. Our expertise comes from personal experience. Our trainings are practical.

In 2004, we began an annual Anti-Deportation Tour around New York City, setting up shop on busy street corners and reaching over 10,000 immigrant New Yorkers about the deportation crisis. Ethnic and local press regularly covers this street outreach, spreading the news and the FFF hotline far and wide. We have partnered with other local groups, based in the heart of the communities we target, including the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights (NMCIR), Asociacion Tepayac, and American Friends Service Committee of NJ. We produce our own our monthly radio show on WBAI 99.5 FM, the "War On Immigrants Report," to educate our communities and share our members' stories. We also reach prisoners through Know Your Rights! Presentations at facilities like Riker's Island - the largest pipeline into deportation in New York. If you would like to get educated, contact us.
