FFF Stands in Solidarity with Palestine

Since October 7th, 2023, more than 9,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and millions of Palestinians have been displaced. With backing from the United States, Europe, and other western countries, Israel has been able to disproportionately attack a population that has been fighting for their autonomy for over seven decades.

As an immigrants rights organization that encounters people seeking refuge from the inhumane treatment that is being imposed on Palestinians, Families for Freedom condemns Israel’s occupation of Palestine and the United States’ support for the regime. A genocide is happening before our eyes and our government is doing little to stop it. Instead, they are openly sanctioning the repressive Israeli regime through sending vast amounts of weapons and funds.

We believe in the principle that all people, regardless of their background, deserve the right to live in safety, dignity, and with full respect for their human rights. The treatment of Palestinians is a stark violation of these fundamental principles. It is heartbreaking to see millions of Palestinians living in constant fear and uncertainty at the hands of Israel.

Families for Freedom strongly calls upon the United States government to reevaluate its position and take steps to aid the millions of Palestinians, among whom half are children, who are enduring war crimes, such as the reported use of white phosphorus and the targeting of vital civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, mosques, and schools.

We call on individuals, organizations, and governments around the world to demand protection of Palestinian rights and an end to the Israeli occupation. We are firmly standing in solidarity with Palestinians around the world and envision a future in which Palestine achieves its rightful freedom.
